We are OneSmallStepforScience. Our mission is to place the revolutionary ZWO Seestar S30 smart telescope in public libraries worldwide, making deep-sky exploration free and accessible to everyone.
Astronomy has historically been an expensive hobby. By placing telescopes in libraries, we remove the financial barrier, allowing students and families to explore the cosmos for free. link
Traditional telescopes are hard to use. The ZWO Seestar S30 uses AI and "Live Stacking" to reveal color in nebulae from light-polluted city centers where most libraries are located. link
Beyond lending, we provide "Star Party" kits to librarians, fostering community events where neighbors gather to watch eclipses, planetary alignments, and solar flares.
Compact, powerful, and completely automated. The S30 is designed for the modern age of astronomy. It's small enough to fit in a backpack but powerful enough to capture distant galaxies. link
High sensitivity Starvis 2 sensor optimized for low light and deep sky capture.
Control everything from your phone. No manual knobs or complex alignment.
Watch the image build in real-time as the telescope automatically tracks and stacks exposures.
Solar Ready
Includes a solar filter for safe sun observation.
See how easy it is to use the Seestar S30 with our interactive guide.
Always ensure the tripod is on solid ground for the best tracking.
Unfold the included tripod and place the S30 on a flat surface. Adjust the tripod legs until the bubble level on the app turns green. Stability is key!

We are currently in the fundraising phase to secure the first batch of 100 Seestar S30 units for libraries in rural communities. Your donation directly funds a telescope that will inspire thousands.
